Challenge 8000

The Challenge8000 team will have to endure extreme hardships during their 61-day trek to reach the summit of Everest. This expedition will involve long hours of arduous trekking, climbing and temperatures as low as -45oC.

As part of their training, the Challenge8000 team will be simulating these conditions to be experienced on Everest - in Malta. The Challenge8000 team wants to share the thrills and challenges of mountaineering with the Maltese public. You are invited to trek, climb, abseil and experience the chilling temperatures of a blast freezer in an action-packed weekend with a difference! EVEREST 24/8000 is a fund-raising event organised by Challenge8000 in aid of Richmond Foundation.
