Hi Guys,
Glad to hear you are all safe an sound at EBC. Now the danger is truely over. Sorry for the delay but I nave had the laser surgery to both my eyes on Wednesday and although I can see distant objects well I am still having trouble with close vision. In fact I am using a magnifying glass to check I have not made any spelling mistakes.
I am home bound till Monday. Hope you do nor arrive in Malta. before then as I want to be personally present at the airport when you arrive

Once again Prosit on such an immense achievement.

Your resilience is incredible (including that of your friends).

Your achievement makes us proud to be Maltese.

I don't know if you have thought of it or whether it is already up your sleeve. I hope you guys organise a lecture to all of us interested and talk us through your whole experience from when you set your minds to climb Mount Everest to the point when you reached the summit. I am sure it will be a great experience to share.

I am writing again, this time in the name of the Committee of the Geography Teachers Association Malta. We would like to congratulate you all on your extraordinary feat whereby you reached the summit of Mount Everest at 8850m above sea level. Your descriptions of the route followed brought shivers down my spine but have also brought closer to us all this fascinating and harsh environment where nature is the protagonist. You managed to link Malta to the top of the World! What an achievement!
